McCain Cancels Larry King Live Interview

McCain canceled an interview on Larry King Live after the following CNN interview with Tucker Bounds, McCain's spokesman, regarding Sarah Palin's foreign policy experience. When asked to name one decision Palin made as commander of Alaska's National Guard, Tucker could not. The interview only turned more awkward for Tucker and viewers alike.

Palin would be a heartbeat away from the presidency and her experience will only become more of an issue given that the McCain camp has made his own experience and Obama's lack of it a central theme of this campaign. The question remains, how will McCain respond? Will he continually shun news outlets that ask tough questions? His refusal to go on CNN is done from a position of weakness because he knows his claim of experience is undercut by Palin's obvious lack of it.
